M. on Mondays and some Tuesdays she worked on the 88th floor for the Port Authority .She would buy me a bagel and coffee from the little bagel stand in front of #1 tower and then I would travel back over the Brooklyn Bridge to Rockaway , Queens. My friend was very fortunate in that she retired from the Port Authority 6 months previous thank god. She worked on the 88th floor. We mourn the friends that perished on 9/11 and we are in touch with her friend that was burnt 70% of her body and survived who worked on the 88th floor.I will always remember that day since I viewed the two towers burning from the shores of Jamaica Bay in Rockaway so clearly that morning. There are many nights that morning come into my view so clearly and my heart is heavy with sorrow.
