Launch of Automated Remote Backup Service

J-Town is now offering automated daily secure off-site backups starting at less than $10/month.

You should backup your computer. You should backup your computer every day. You should keep a backup at a remote location in case of fire, theft, or other catastrophe. But you don't.

Now we make it easy.

With our new service your computer will be configured to backup the directories and files you specify, at the time you designate. The backup will be stored on servers in the United States. You can restore the data at any time in an easy drag-and-drop motion.

The cost of this service depends solely on the amount of backup space you require. Each month you only pay for the space you use. There is no cost for software.

Bat Zion Web Site Inaugarated

"Besides excelling in Creativity and Technique, J-Town could be a role model for the rest of the country for excellence in customer service."
Menachem Rubin, Director of Bat Zion

How do you get American donors to give to a worthy cause far away?

This was the challenge presented to J-Town by Bat Zion, an organization which helps Russian Jewish girls in abusive situations, sometimes living on the street in the FSU, to immigrate to Israel and continue on to productive lives.

J-Town decided to use metaphore to help donors experience and identify with these girls. While the site has a fact sheet for visitors interested in the bottom line, most vistors are guided through different sections of the Bat Zion Web site - "NIGHTMARE", "ESCAPE", "ENRICHMENT", "SUCCESS STORIES" and "HOPE" - each with its own metaphore presented in form and content with messages about the organization, personal stories and specific opportunities for donors to help.
